Created in 2020, StayFITT Training was built on a simple but powerful mission: to remove the barriers that keep people from staying active long-term. Founder LaRee Schuenman grew up in a sedentary environment and witnessed firsthand how obesity, chronic disease, and addiction affected her family. She recognized how overwhelming and inaccessible traditional gyms can feel—especially for those dealing with pain, lack of confidence, or busy schedules.
StayFITT was built to be different. We believe fitness should support your life, not compete with it. Our approach emphasizes personal, intentional, and sustainable training. We lead with encouragement and teamwork, creating an environment where busy parents, professionals, and adults returning to movement after injury feel safe, capable, and strong.
LaRee is the visionary behind StayFITT Training, holding an AAS in Exercise Science, ACSM CPT, and PN2 certifications. With over 20 years of fitness experience, she created StayFITT to bring a space to the community that bridges the gap between physical therapy and fitness. Having seen how chronic disease affected her own family, she made a choice to break the cycle and now empowers others to rewrite their own stories.

Marissa turned her own health journey into a passion for helping others in 2019. She believes true health includes mental strength and balance. She enjoys working with families, moms, and youth to build sustainable habits that fit real life.

With 8 years of training experience, Tyler specializes in fat loss and body recomposition. Having struggled with weight and mental health himself, he is passionate about helping clients who don't know where to start or how to get out of a rut.

Monica focuses on building strength and improving mobility, especially for those aging. She helps clients shift their mindset to see exercise as a way to honor and care for the body rather than a punishment.

Connor focuses on conditioning, HIIT, and mobility. His goal is to show that everyone is capable of pushing further and taking better care of themselves, whether you are just starting out or looking to hit new performance goals.
